What if I listened and obeyed God’s leading instead of just praying for what I want done?
What if I consistently did all the little things God asked me to do?
What if I worshiped God as loud and vigorously as I do my college team?
What if I warmly greeted everyone I met?
What if I purposely looked for opportunities to serve others in little or large ways?
What if I search for Godly wisdom through his Word as often as I searched the internet?
What if I made that call to a family member, friend, neighbor, or coworker?
What if I gave generously to the ministry that ministers to my heart?
What if I lifted my eyes to see the wonders of His creation instead of the cracks in the sidewalk?
What if I trusted God with all my needs, worries, fears, and failures first instead of last?
What if I listened, learned, loved, and obediently trusted God with every thing?
What if I lived my life like I believed His Word, how different would life and the lives of others be?
What if I replaced all the “What if’s” with “I will”?
Today, by the grace of God, I will.
“Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.” Philippians 2:12-13 NIV
