For the past fifteen years, Rob and Roxanne Maroney have been helping couples rebuild relationships threatened by lack of intimacy, lost connection, damaged love styles, and broken trust. As a trained counselor and life coach, Roxanne works with women and couples to help heal and repair broken relationships. Rob spent twenty-five years in the corporate world with major international companies and now works with a non-profit counseling and teaching ministry. Rob works with men recovering from sexual integrity issues.
They both have educational backgrounds in psychology, biblical counseling, and Christian life coaching. They are certified in Gottman Therapist Training and are facilitators of SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before it Starts).
Rob and Roxanne live in Orange County, California, and have been married for over four decades. They have three grown children and thirteen grandchildren. From their own experience of repair and recovery, Rob and Roxanne share openly and candidly what they learned about building a marriage to last. Hope After Hurt is a story that needs to be told to give hope to those in need. Perhaps someone like you and your relationship.
Transforming Families is delighted to have a ministry partnership with Rob and Roxanne Maroney. Together, through our books, curriculum, blogs, training, and workshops, we are honored to offer help, hope, and healing guided by God’s Word and wisdom. I am so grateful to so many at Mariners Church in Irvine, CA that have supported our ministry over the years. God-led leaders like Tim Lukei and Eric Heard have provided invaluable feedback that has helped to shape all our curriculum. Over 600 men at Mariner’s Church, Irvine have completed Rescuing the Rogue.
When the COVID 19 pandemic began to shut down most of the country, Tim tasked us with developing a group study curriculum to help his men stay spiritually grounded. We recruited a few experienced leaders, most notably Frank Casco, Henry Kim, Sam Peterson and Sean Stier, who during the pandemic faithfully led men through Zoom meetings of the initial draft of Transformational Life. Tim’s vision, the leadership of these men and the platform of Mariners Church all made this book possible.
Men of Mariners exist to inspire men to follow Jesus and fearless change the world. We don’t have all the answers, and none of us are perfect, but we are about encouraging the men of Orange County to follow Jesus Christ in every aspect of their lives; challenging each to be a man of God in his home, workplace, church and world. The Men’s Ministry connects men with God and with other events, life groups, bible studies, sports and retreats.
I’ve had the privilege to work with Michael and Strong Fathers, Strong Families for over 20 years. We’ve crisscrossed the US developing responsible fatherhood programs, presenting/hosting conferences, and writing curriculum that continues to transform relationships between fathers and their children. It is an honor to count him as one of my closest friends.
Michael has worked with over 200,000 fathers and professionals in 45 states and a couple of languages. Using his vast experience as an educator, speaker, and thought leader, he can provide the right training for your school or organization.
Michael works with fathers and families every week. He has the expertise to help your staff better understand how to better reach fathers and families for the sake of improved child outcomes. In half-day or full day workshops he can educate and motivate your staff and entire organization to tap into the strengths of both moms and dads in your family engagement efforts. If you are interested, we can set up a phone call to talk about your needs and calendar opportunities.

American Association of Christian Counselors
I have been a member of AACC for over 10 years, and privilege to present workshops their national and international conferences. AACC is second to none when it comes to assisting Christian counselors, the entire “community of care,” licensed professionals, pastors, and lay church members with little or no formal training. It is their intention to equip clinical, pastoral, and lay care-givers with biblical truth and psychosocial insights that minister to hurting persons and helps them move to personal wholeness, interpersonal competence, mental stability, and spiritual maturity.
