The Beginning of Transforming Families
Seeds sown during a 1994 gathering of six men discussing healthy relationships ignited a passion for strengthening families. This passion grew into Transforming Families Global Initiative (Transforming Families). Our journey includes developing nine curriculums for fathers and men, as well as creating tools and training resources for community leaders dedicated to serving families.
Leadership and Vision
Transforming Families President Randell D. Turner, Ph.D., is a pioneer in the Fatherhood & Men’s Movement. Over the years, he has authored award-winning resources for organizations such as the National Center for Fathering, Uplift Generation, National Fatherhood Initiative, and Fatherhood.gov. His personal and professional experience inspired the creation of Rescuing the Rogue (Rogue), a program designed to equip men with the skills to build lasting intimate relationships. However, Rogue was just the beginning.
